Hey, Will! You are not alone in your disappointment with Joe Biden. I wasn't a fan anyway, but I trusted him with my vote because I'd have voted for my cat if it would stop the movement behind Trump. That was Biden's primary role and responsibility. He did accomplish some good things, but not the most important thing: stopping the MAGA movement from gaining power. He tried to use the ring instead of destroying it. Now here we are, fighting a much stronger enemy.
Will, I am glad that your therapist gave you that advice and I hope that you can work toward that goal. It is a damn hard thing to do, especially when there is no justice served and the pain defines one's days. But that is probably the best reason for you to let go, because what was done has trapped you, preventing you from being in the here and now. I speak from experience, but certainly not at your level. Please forgive me if I am over-stepping. I just wish you better times.
And regarding the worst president, I think the current so-called president is the worst. By a long shot. I don't even view The Felon as my president because he is reigning over his monstrous creation of a kingdom, and I live in a country defined by the Constitution and the rule of law.
I certainly don't agree with everything Biden did, but he accomplished more fore the country than any Democrat since FDR. I agree he should have been 1 and done. But none of us are perfect and we all have our blind spots. The current occupant of the Oval Office is absolutely the worst thing to have ever happened to our country since its founding. I'm quite certain I'm going to see the end of our democracy in my lifetime and it's entirely due to one person and it certainly isn't Joe Biden.

Honestly, probably second worst, but fundamentally you're correct. He's not good man and never has been.

As an Afghan-American aid worker, thank you. I needed this.
