I think Biden followed through with Trump's Doha agreement because he was champing at the bit to get out of Afghanistan for years - correct? - and Trump's plan gave him an easy path to follow. So the ultimate responsibility is, of course, Biden's. But I don't think the president makes operational plans, so somebody else actually planned the specific steps we took to withdraw. Do you know who that was? Who was directly responsible for that clusterf**k? Also, does anyone know what position Harris took on Afghanistan in general and the withdrawal in particular? I have no idea whether she supported it wholeheartedly or was dead set against it or...? I would imagine she is really disturbed by the situation of Afghan women and girls but I can't recall her saying anything about it. Yet. It is possible that she did not feel free to speak as V.P. and her new status as candidate is really new. Someone should ask her.

If anyone says “this may not be right - but I’m doing it for all the right reasons” - that person has been co-opted into politics - they may not accept that, or know it. But there is no “right wrong” - there is right and wrong - that other thing is “left and right” - it’s BS and it’s why we lose wars -
