Adam Kinzinger has a Substack post up today about Walz's military service. It aligns with news reports I've read in national media, with additional perspective from a fellow veteran. https://adamkinzinger.substack.com/p/the-swiftboating-of-walz-is-sick

If this turns out to be the biggest issue, then it's not a big deal. The other stuff, IMO, is more problematic. We will find out in due time.

Thanks for sending it! I'll be waiting for Governor Walz to respond. However, it doesn't negate the fact that he should not be calling himself a retired CSM, no matter what. Is it a big deal? No. And I've said as much on internal comms. If the charge of him leaving early before his deployment are false, then it's really not a huge deal. However, Adam Kizinger, who I respect, needs to listen to all sides. I'm waiting to hear what Governor Walz says.

Good article. What would you have Harris say that would simultaneously support veterans of the war in Afghanistan without undermining the administration she currently serves, and therefore her own campaign? Or is this something that needs to be addressed by the next Presidential campaign?

Nancy - warning #1.

You ever talk that way to me again and you’re banned.

I don’t care who you are you will never talk to me that way.

I’m part of the problem?

In fact, you’re banned.

I’ve done more for Afghanistan than you can possible imagine. Nobody will come on my substack and tell me I’m part of the problem in Afghanistan.

Ya know SubStack REALLY needs an Unlike button.

To quote Mary McCarthy on Lillian Hellman "Every word she writes is a lie, including 'and' and 'the'."
