Shawn VanDiver Should Step Aside

Let me start by saying I’ve thought this for a very, very long time. Please, anyone can ask Kate K about this. I have long believed that Shawn VanDiver was an honorable veteran who probably sincerely loved the cause of Afghanistan.
But let me start by saying some incontrovertible facts:
He thinks that the Afghan withdrawal was the correct decision!
GCV Question: How does that work, exactly? Do you think the very decision that caused our allies to lose everything was the correct decision, but you support their peaceful evacuation?
He repeatedly praised Joe Biden in public because he’s a liberal (which is fine!):
There’s nothing inherently wrong with SVD’s message to Trump. Still, Trump is surrounded by MAGA combat veterans who have no respect for someone who has not even been in Afghanistan and who has a long track record of progressive causes.
Again. I DON’T WANT THE JOB! PLEASE DEAR GOD I WILL YELL AT EVERYONE WHO OFFERS IT TO ME AND THEN DIRECT THEM TO MY MOTHER!

I think the movement needs more Afghan faces or MAGA supporters! We need MAGA! Woohoo! Who fucking cares if you don’t like their motherfucking politics because it’s about the Afghans, not our political aspirations.
Temporary Solution: Kate K should lead Afghan evac. Why?
Because she’s a fierce advocate for Afghan women, she’s hit Biden repeatedly and knows SVD!
Plus, she’s resilient, can take punches, and can give it as well as she gets it—believe me, I know from experience!
Truthfully, I don’t want to be involved in this part of the Afghan space anymore. I’m more focused on finding Afghan jobs, making sure they’re taken care of, and I don’t want to meet President Trump. I’m good without that honor.
I will now be going on a week-long vacation after the loss of my dog and receiving multiple serious death threats.
Please. Let’s all focus on the Afghans and let ALL OF OUR EGOS go because it’s about the Afghans—not us!
