This week, my family had dinner with neighbors down the street and the next day my husband and I met with a rabbi at a local synagogue. This doesn’t sound like much, but I work remotely and, with two toddlers, we don’t get out much. But I feel noticeably better this week: I feel joy, I’ve laughed a ton, and I feel less stressed. The four D’s that Scott mentioned are spot on. And the antidote to that is connection and community. Thank you for this interview

Excellent discussion from two people who have made generational differences in the lives of Afghanistan and US military members. Glad you both are continuing to work for the betterment of the military community and our allies.
