Howdy,
As the lovely Charity can attest, I’ve been wrong about many things. From the trivial (Jimbo will lead A&M to the promised land) to important issues (the military will struggle with ending DADT) and everything in between. However, one thing I’ve nailed dead to right is this: a lot of Americans hate Jews. The lovely Charity has “to listen” to a lot of my rants — pity here, indeed — and she’s heard this little rant for the duration of our relationship (which she has enjoyed, btw).
Don’t believe me? 20% of Americans believe the Holocaust was a myth. The Antidefamation League, which I'm not an enormous fan of, recently reported that a similar number of Americans hold antisemitic beliefs. My hunch is that most of this is found among young Americans. Why? Because 51% of them believe that Hamas was justified in raping, murdering, and kidnapping thousands of Jews.
This has surprised many of my fellow tribesmen, but not this guy. I’ve long stated that Americans have a lot of tolerance for antisemitism.
Point of Privilege: I hate the term antisemitism. It sounds so innocuous. Let’s call it what it is: Jew-hatred.
Why would I say that? Well, remember when MSNBC and the Democratic Party washed their hands of “Reverend” Al Sharpton for leading a modern-day pogrom that led to the death of a visiting Jewish student? Yeah, me neither, because it never happened. He still meets with President Biden regularly. Remember when President Obama’s picture with notorious Jew-hater Louis Farrakhan was front page news? Yeah, me neither, because the photographer hid it from the public.
Luckily, we can all breathe a sigh of relief that Trump will no longer be the GOP nominee following his dinner with Nick Fuentes. Oh, wait.
But wait, there’s more. I distinctly remember numerous Gentiles tsk-tsking me when Mel Gibson released “The Passion of the Christ” despite its ties to Jew-hatred.
A fellow 2nd Lt at tech school assured me and another fellow Heeb that we were mistaken! Sure, Gibson was a bit of an old school catholic — don’t they have an excellent record with the Holocaust—but he didn’t hate Jews, guys!
Oopsie! During his 2006 DUI arrest, he let loose with this little tirade:
"The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world," and asked arresting officer James Mee, "Are you a Jew?"
Hey, these things happen, people! Luckily, he’s still not appearing on late-night television.
Who can forget when Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube were barred from polite society? Not those two outstanding people! Snoop was just a former member of Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam. He probably was too high to realize that Farrakhan calls Jews gutter people. And, sure, Ice Cube regularly traffics in vicious Jew-hatred, but his beats are dope, yo! And who doesn’t love Deion Prime Time Sanders? Sure, he cheers on Farrakhan, but he’s a fantastic leader of men!
I could go on and on, but I think you get the picture. All facets of American life tolerate Jew-hatred. While attacks against Jews are at an all-time high, they’ve been a leading hate crime in America for decades.
So it says something about the United States and the world that we’re seeing a rise in attacks after Hamas raped, murdered, kidnapped, and tortured thousands of Jews. It says something about the United States that the progressive Left regularly denounces all forms of racism—real and imagined—but can’t quite find its voice when Jews are regularly attacked throughout the campuses they dominate. It says something about the MAGA Right, who purportedly loves Israel that they still think Trump is like Jesus despite his fondness for Jew-haters.
Today, the Atlantic ran an excellent, must-read article on the end of the golden era for Jews. Here’s the thing: that golden era has been waning for quite a long time.
The rise of conspiracy theories on both sides of the political spectrum always foreshadows a rise of Jew-hatred. Because if you think THE DEEP STATE stole the election, then it’s not that big of a leap to believe that the Jews control all finances. If you feel that white people are inherently racist, then it is not too far of a leap to think that Jews staged the Hamas attacks.
This is the point of the article where I’m supposed to clear my throat about legitimate criticisms of Israel, Netanyahu, its war aims, etc. But if you need that type of reassurance, then the adult world isn’t for you.
Israel is in an existential fight against an Iranian-sponsored terror state that is buried underground and uses their people as shields. The IDF is making progress in uprooting these despicable terrorist thugs.
It’s 2024. You don’t get to slaughter, rape, and behead Jews anymore and not pay a price for your savagery.
Death to Hamas. Am Yisrael Chai.
Until next time.
One does not have to know what antisemitic means to engage in Jew hatred. Ignorance is sufficient.
Your examples prove your point. Until next time.
