This was a very enlightening conversation Will, Kate and Josh. The concept of Moral Injury spoke to me in so many ways. I can't thank you enough. As a trauma survivor myself I learned so much. I also enjoyed your personal survival stories as well.

The feelings of Moral injury affects all of you and all of our Veterans of the Afghanistan and Iraq wars. Especially Afghanistan and the brutal pullout you all experienced. I can now better grasp the anger, rage and feelings of betrayal by our Government. I even can relate it to the current situation we are facing regarding the trauma of DJT and the moral injury he inflicts on us daily. That is very real. I speak with men and women from all over this wonderful country who are literally torn apart because of his hate and anger. We must defeat and remove this cancer from our Nation in November We must!!

I pray Will, Josh and Kate that as you heal you can work through this pain and live a happier life again. I wish that for all of our Veterans. I know it's not easy. Not at all. But You all certainly deserve it. We have a few sayings in Recovery. One of them is "Let Go and Let God". Letting Go of past trauma and forgiving are some of the hardest things to do there are. Believe me I know from personal experience. It's about progress not perfection. (Another Recovery saying. 😆) But once you get there there is no greater freedom!! I do know it CAN be done. You all working together and helping each other is where it's at in my opinion.

I sure appreciate you sharing your feelings and such personal experiences. I truly hope and pray our Government learns the lessons of the Wars of Iraq and especially Afghanistan. That's the definition of insanity if not. Doing the same things over and over, while expecting different results. They surely need to. Too many lives have been lost, money has been spent and futures have been compromised almost beyond repair. Nothing is worth of all of that. Nothing!!

Thank you again so much for a very thought provoking conversation. I hope it helped you as much as it helped me. Best wishes to all of you. ❤️🇺🇸💙
