Every combat vet returning home probably needs a therapist week one.

I wonder if an assn of certified therapists (one with good track record Not themselves certifiable) would offer a volunteer opportunity to members who, after a freeworkshop on military ptsd, will volunteer one of their $200/hour counseling sessions each week or month to a returning combat vet at a local VA hospital, online or in their office.

Why would they?

Maybe as thanks to the 1% who defended our country, right or wrong so people like the therapist could live the American life and build a career, maybe even demonstrating against some wars that lost focus —

— specially if the therapist also feels moral injury because they understand they let the brave and/or the desperately poor carry the burden of war
