The Taliban's return was a significant blow to the country, especially for women. With their arrival, all doors to happiness for Afghan women were closed.
After August 15, 2021, everyone tried to leave the country. I feared the Taliban since I had worked with foreigners and nongovernmental organizations. Therefore, I was looking to find a way to escape from the Taliban. Finally, I became acquainted with an organization.
They promised they would transfer us to the United States via Pakistan.
I left Afghanistan and continued my journey to Pakistan.
At first, we were very happy. They welcomed us to a beautiful hotel, providing all the necessary amenities. However, after a few months, the organization informed us that they could no longer afford to provide for our well-being. Upon hearing this, all 250 refugees became extremely distressed. We were all in shock. Everyone, myself included, was overwhelmed with stress as they tried to figure out how to survive without assistance.
One night, I came across a Facebook post by Mr. John Moses about Afghans. I immediately messaged him, explaining that we were in a tough situation. I told him that an organization had brought us to Pakistan but had now abandoned us and had yet to find a solution. I asked him for help.
I had nothing. I was desperate.
He responded immediately, saying he would introduce me to his friend, Jessica Rivera. After being introduced to them, they promised to provide me with financial and emotional support until my case was resolved and I reached a safe country. When I received their first aid package, I was amazed at how these two angels assisted me.
The support continued while I remained in Pakistan, waiting for my case to be processed. They helped me immensely in advancing my case and achieving other successes. I became so dependent on them that even for minor problems, I needed their valuable advice. Their support continued from November 2022 until March 2024. Finally, with the help of these two angels, I entered the United States.
Sometimes, the problems that come in life lead us to meet better people and a better life. My association with these two angels has resulted in the salvation of my entire family. I currently live in the United States, but I will never forget the kindness and help these two angels provided to save and change my life.

Score One For The Good Guys! Miracles happen All The Time, IF you know how to look for them, Big Ones like this (And It Is. Maybe not Parting The Red Sea, but right up there) Small ones ie hitting every light green when when you need to.
They happen All The Time.
We angelss can only help one or two. Maybe there’s a way too create Welcome. Corps teams to help the other 249 still in danger?
I don’t have time or skills to organize that and any time I have is still to help “my” two Afghans rebuild their lives in the US. It worth trying - small groups of Americans joining to help an Afghan individual or family
